In 2005 Charles Bateson Design Consultants will celebrate ten years in business and this seemed like a good time to launch this website to show prospective clients a small proportion of the work that we have been involved in during that period. The company was started when we were invited to take part in the British Interior Design Exhibition where we exhibited along side the country’s leading designers.
Before that I worked for some well known interior designers, including David Hicks, where I gained experience over a nine year period.
The vast majority of our work is in private domestic refurbishment from small apartments to large country estates.
Our work on bespoke furniture led me to start a furniture and furnishings supply company, DOM Furniture Ltd, with partners Maggie Libura and Alison Ravano - to fill a gap for contemporary / classic items across a large range. We supply upholstery, tables, lamps, mirrors, bedroom furniture and decorative items to the interior design trade and the public.
